Oreos now have less filling and taste different
I recently bought two packages of regular Oreo cookies in a couple of months ago. The cookies had about half of the amount of cream filling they used to have, and the cookies tasted like chalk and are very thin.
Same thing happened with a package of Double Stuf that I bought a few months earlier. What happened to the old Oreos? It seems like both the quality and the recipe has changed. Likely the company did it to cut costs, but why would you mess with something so perfect?
I would gladly pay more for the old Oreo-bring back the filling and the rich chocolate cookie. Until then, I will not be buying Oreos again.
- Food quality
Preferred solution: Bring back the old recipe

Verified ReviewerAbsolutely disappointed with the double stuffed! Complete FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!
We buy Mega Stuffed every week and are satisfied. We were so disappointed with the cookies we got at the store.
They only had Double Stuffed. Total crap! We won't buy from this company again. We will find something else for our family.
We are totally disappointed and disgusted. They make enough money to produce a good product.

Verified ReviewerInferior product
Package of Oreo cookies and some were just single cookies with no filling. They are not what they used to be and I won't be buying them again.
They are also expensive for such poor quality. They are not what I remember from years ago.
- Not enough cream filling

Verified ReviewerSpecialty cookies delivered to wrong address
I ordered a design on Oreo cookies for a baby shower and accidentally put in the wrong shipping address. I called right away after I received my confirmation email.
There was no answer as it was the weekend. When I finally got a hold of them first thing Monday morning (less than an hour after they opened), I was told that I couldn't make any changes. Not even a correction in the address, as their system doesn't allow it. Is it poor customer service or bad software?
I even called their parent company and was told I would hear back. I never did. I tried a few other numbers. I was told that once it ships I can contact FedEx and have the address changed.
I contacted FedEx and they said only the shipper can change it!
Now I have to resend. Poor, poor customer service.

Verified Reviewer | San Marcos, CaliforniaOrdered the special design and needed to change shipping address
I called within the first hour they opened on Monday after placing order over the weekend. No answer over the weekend so when I finally got a person they told me I couldnt correct the address that I mistakenly put in.
She said there system wont allow it! Wow for the cost and the size of my order for a baby shower (177.00) I had to wait for the delivery and resend themadditional $. Although when I called again they said I can change the address with FedEx but FedEx told me only the shipper is allowed to change it. Wow!
Very poor customer service. Great cookies but I will never order from them again. I even called the parent company.
Was told I would hear back. Never did!
User's recommendation: Don’t order on line!
Always held dear a few things from the past as kindred keepsakes....
Remembering a few great and dear items from my past; such as Hostess cupcakes and Oreo cookies. Since Hostess went out of business and then sold it's name and product integrity to another it has just became a memory.
I now purchased the Oreo double stuff and in my opinion, found this too has lost some of it's flavor and some of it's "double" stuff. Quite a few years ago Nabisco sold it's product and name to many corporations over the years.
Unfortunately, this too has become, in my opinion, only a memory. Tsk, Tsk...
User's recommendation: Even though Entenmann's bakery has been sold to many companies, they still make better desserts then Hostess and Oreo (whomever owns them now).

Verified ReviewerI don't have any stars for oreos. I bought the vanilla oreos & there was hardly any filling in them. I can buy the Walmart brand for 1/2 the price & get more filling. I am so disappointe!
Don't false advertise on TV that your product is so great when it's not. You're just ripping people off. I hate capitalism & that's why you're doing, same as Disney & walmart, you just rip off the poor
- You dont get what you pay for

Verified ReviewerWhere is the cream?
The price increase was bad enough, but I opened the pack and saw a pathetic Oreo. I hate to even call this imposter an Oreo.
The Oreos I know have actual cream in the middle that is thick, sandwiched between two chocolatey layers. That is no more. You can't taste the cream and the cookie has a funny aftertaste. Nabisco has let us all down and that sucks.
I will not buy again and that breaks my heart. Nabisco, give us back the classic Oreo we all LOVE!
- No cream filling and weird aftertaste
Preferred solution: Go back to the original Oreo recipe
User's recommendation: Don’t buy

Verified ReviewerOrder won't be here in time!
I placed my order in time for Father's Day, but it's still not here and does not appear that it will be here in time! I called customer service and I listened to a woman for over 32 minutes speak of race, slavery and gay people in her family.
She did not know I was on the phone listening! No wonder my order is lost.
- Cute idea
- Never arrived

I thought Oreo ice cream was supposed to taste like ice cream with Oreo chunks, not just the creamer. I am not happy at all. With me getting my wisdom teeth removed and having to buy ice cream, I will not be buying this again!

Verified ReviewerBad tasting Oreo cookies
Nabisco can spin this issue all they want. Oreos taste different and not good.
I'll be throwing away the remaining (all but 2) and am not interested in buying more. This is after 40 plus years of being a customer.
- Bad taste
User's recommendation: Try them for yourself. Milk doesn’t even help.
Less cream
Huge let down
My brand new package of double stuf Oreos definitely have less cream
Used to be my all time favorite since I was little.
May never buy again.
Sad..disappointed.especially when you look forward to a sweet treat
Oreos “used” to have more frosting in the middle, from what used to be to the edges, is now about the size of a 0.50¢ piece.
Charge more if necessary, but please dont charge the same price for less product.I have bought Oreos for years, and have never, until this time regretted my decision.
User's recommendation: Buy with caution

just opened a bag of Oreos. can't even see the stuffing between the two very thin cookies.
I'm done. we're getting less product and spending more for it.
I recently bought one package of Double Stuff Oreo cookies last week. The cookies had about half of the amount of cream filling they used to have, and the cookies tasted like chalk and are very thin.
Same thing happened with a package of Regular Oreos that I bought a few weeks earlier. What happened to the old Oreos? It seems like both the quality and the recipe has changed. These cookies are now made in Mexico and that is WRONG.
I would gladly pay more for the old Oreo-bring back the filling and the rich chocolate cookie. Until then, I will not be buying Oreos again.
Yes, they have changed for the worse. I got s package that some didn't even have filling, on crooked, etc. Bad move, Oreo!
Same story for about everything. Pay more for less.
They moved their factories to Mexico... oh...
yum!!!! Serious, buy local
I guess that’s what happens when the Oreo factories move to Mexico…
Same opinion...these Oreos are more expensive and so not worth it...
The former president Trump bitched and complained about that too cuz they were his favorite cookies and he decided not to eat them cuz they were made solely in Mexico what do you want from that cheap *** nothing's good anymore it sucks and believe me I live with the cookie at it no no he likes as I think chips a horse and what are those little one keeblers double chunk chocolate hard to find and way overpriced forget about Oreos just get the generic they're just as good if not better.
Totally agree this includes all goods. Your paying MORE now for LESS !!!!
Agree with many other comments. The last package of Double Stuf I bought about 2 weeks ago have very thin filling and the wafers taste bland Also very difficult to pull apart. Terrible compared to packages I've been buying every 3 weeks for years now.
