My granddaughter selected the mini Oreo cookies to take with her school lunches. However, one of the mini packs did not contain cookies.

There was only air in the sealed package!

She wants her cookies. She feels we are shortchanged and wants to get what her grandmother paid for: cookies and not air!

Oreos now have less filling and taste different

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I recently bought two packages of regular Oreo cookies in a couple of months ago. The cookies had about half of the amount of cream filling they used to have, and the cookies tasted like chalk and are very thin.

Same thing happened with a package of Double Stuf that I bought a few months earlier. What happened to the old Oreos? It seems like both the quality and the recipe has changed. Likely the company did it to cut costs, but why would you mess with something so perfect?

I would gladly pay more for the old Oreo-bring back the filling and the rich chocolate cookie. Until then, I will not be buying Oreos again.

I know ow this to be true, it's not just OREOS, IT'S EVERYTHING, smaller in size, less than almost 1/2 chips, frozen fish, maybe 4 pcs, used to be 8 for Less $$. It's not right, besides all the chemicals now added that weren't before, using colors blue, red and yellow, which are petroleum!

Do your research, Robert F Kennedy Jr is right! Sad what they are doing to our food, water sickening

I recently bought one package of Double Stuff Oreo cookies last week. The cookies had about half of the amount of cream filling they used to have, and the cookies tasted like chalk and are very thin.

Same thing happened with a package of Regular Oreos that I bought a few weeks earlier. What happened to the old Oreos? It seems like both the quality and the recipe has changed. These cookies are now made in Mexico and that is WRONG.

I would gladly pay more for the old Oreo-bring back the filling and the rich chocolate cookie. Until then, I will not be buying Oreos again.

I 110% AGREE WITH YOU!! SEEMS LIKE EVERY CONSUMER BASED PRODUCT OR SERVICE IS GIVING "US, THE CONSUMER"( THE PERSONS ALLOWING THEM TO CONTINUE DOING BUSINESS BECAUSE WE ARE CONSUMING OR PURCHASING THEIR B&LLSH+T) THE SHORT END OF THE STICK, SO TO SAY!!

EVERYTIME I LOOK FORWARD TO PURCHASING SOME OF THE MOST STAPLE AMERICAN PRODUCTS I.E.( OREOS) THEY HAVE CHANGED THE PACKAGE, CLAIMED TO HAVE A "NEW AND IMPROVED" VERSION! YEAH, ALL FOR A NEW AND DISIMPROVED PRICE!! THEY SAY, LOOK AT OUR NEW SAFER PACKING AND THEY SAY "TRY OUR NEW AND IMPROVED TASTE"!! BUT, BASICALLY ALL THEY HAVE GIVEN YOU FOR THIS NEW GREAT TASTE AND NICER SAFER PACKAGING IS LESS PRODUCT, HARDER TO GET INTO PACKAGE AND A PRICE THAT HAS SEEMED TO ALMOST DOUBLED!

IF IT'S NOT BROKE , WHY FIX IT??? AND IF YOU HAVE TO CHANGE THE PACKAGE TO FIT CODES OR BETTER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT, FINE ,WE ALL DEAL WITH THAT BUT DON'T CHANGE OR TAKE FROM THE PRODUCT TO CUT COST FOR YOUR NEW PACKAGE AND THEN STILL STICK IT TO YOUR VALUED CUSTOMER WHO PROBABLY CAN'T HARDLY AFFORD IT ANYMORE ANYWAY BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH EVERYTHING ELSE IS INFLATED NOW!!!

BUT LOVES YOUR OLD PRODUCT AND GIVES YOU THEIR BUSINESS BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS HAVE!?!! And then we AS THE CONSUMER CONTINUE TO COMPLAIN BUT, IT SEEMS TO FALL ON DEF EARS AND THEY COULD CARE LESS IF YOU TRY TO LET THEM KNOW BECAUSE THERE IS NO ONE THERE TO TAKE YOUR CALL OR COMPLAINT ANYWAY ANYMORE BECAUSE NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE CONSUMER, LONG STORY SHORT, ITS A TRAVISTY ON A USE TO BE AWESOME CAPITALIST AMERICA WHO DOESN'T CARE BECAUSE THE COMPANY DOESN'T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH ANYWAY BECAUSE It's OWNED BY ANOTHER COUNTRY ANYWAYS

They moved their factories to Mexico... oh...

yum!!!! Serious, buy local

Guest

I guess that’s what happens when the Oreo factories move to Mexico…

Guest

Same opinion...these Oreos are more expensive and so not worth it...

Guest

The former president Trump bitched and complained about that too cuz they were his favorite cookies and he decided not to eat them cuz they were made solely in Mexico what do you want from that cheap *** nothing's good anymore it sucks and believe me I live with the cookie at it no no he likes as I think chips a horse and what are those little one keeblers double chunk chocolate hard to find and way overpriced forget about Oreos just get the generic they're just as good if not better.

Guest

Totally agree this includes all goods. Your paying MORE now for LESS !!!!

Guest

Agree with many other comments. The last package of Double Stuf I bought about 2 weeks ago have very thin filling and the wafers taste bland Also very difficult to pull apart. Terrible compared to packages I've been buying every 3 weeks for years now.

Guest

totally agree

Guest

Purchased the double stuff Oreos, absolutely horrible! Definitely not double stuff…dry, and couldn’t pull apart like the old days.

They’re made like generic cookies now. Not buying again.

Guest

The oreos are much thinner and have little cream. It falls apart so easily and you certainly can't pull it apart to lick the cram like children always loved to do.

Guest

Absolutely accurate. Somebody in a boardroom decided to reduce the amount of filling and keep/increase the purchase price.

Levert Cfk

Just purchased Oreos for the first time in a long time. OMG hardly any cream inside it all tasted like just two cookies no cream. Won’t buy them again.

Guest

i just tried some double stuff oreos.they are not the samei would have to agree.and i will not be buying none until nabisco makes it right tastes and filling.and i'm sure other people have saw and read the comments.it's to bad cause you'er losing customer base all for the dollar's.check your self before you wreck yourself

Guest

Agree! No more Oreos for me...they used to be so good but now they taste terrible!

Hi first, I'd like to say how dare you? How dare you scam what I can only imagine is millions. I'm sure I am not the only person who feels personally lied to by those behind the construction of these phony doublestuf Oreos. These are originalstuf, maybe even semistuf at best. I have pics to prove my case; I'd like to hear from whoever approved such blasphemy at your earliest convenience.

Thanks!

A very concerned 40 year old

In all seriousness, I need this addressed!!

I agree with you! The double stuff gate is almost treasonous!

I grew up with regular Oreos and when the double stuff came out I didn’t look back! The last few years I’ve noticed the double stuff is the normal stuff and you have lied and cheated the double stuff clan. I took a chance today and bought a package of double stuff cookies and instantly regretted it. Not only are they not double stuffed but the center row is missing 4 or 5 freaking cookies!

I’m very disappointed and this will affect future Oreo purchases. tet2002us@***.com

Molds to make the cookies are smaller.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Updated by user May 31, 2025

Nabisco refused to change their cookie molds back to the original size that they were 7 years ago. I pleaded with them to drop the price then from 5.99 to 2.99 and they laughed at me.

I told them I go into stores and no one is buying them until they go on sale.

They just said don't buy them then. We don't care.

Original review May 15, 2025

They raised the prices but also reduced the size of the cookie, and that is the insulting side of this. The filling is of little concern to consumers, but it is size that counts.

They put in new molds in the factory, so there is no going back.

That I get. No one buying them at full price is something else I have noticed.

Preferred solution: Oreo coupons. Their good ones.

AI decided to splurge on an over priced package of DOUBLE STUF OREO. As soon as I opened the package, I could tell the difference from the last pack I purchased a couple of years ago.

I then gave it the dip milk taste test to confirm & yep!

Definitely not the taste of a Double stuf ( the 1 f is driving me crazy) Oreo! Its one thing to reduce the # of cookies because they have to disclose on the back, but reducing the double stuf to 1.5 stuf is DISHONEST!

Not worth the money

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

These cookies have no filing anymore. You are just buying a cookie held together with a blessing of icing.

If you blinking you miss it.

Been a fan for 60 years but quit buying due to quality is gone. If they ever put it back might consider trying them again.

Never liked Regular oreos.....but the Vanilla I like.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

As far as price and product... when price goes up, quality and quantity come down.

Now when production prices come down, the quality and pricing to the consumer never will.

Once they get a taste of more profit, it will never change. We will always be ripped off because of the mismanagement of another.

User's recommendation: Until quality, quantity, and pricing come down, buy "off brand". You'll get pretty much the same thing.
