Over the last several months I have noted, when pulling apart an Oreo Cookie, that the cookie tends to fracture along the midline of the cookie. Never, in my life as a consumer of Oreos, has this been an issue with every single Oreo I have attempted to eat.

Sure, one or two might crack, but I'm curious as to what change in the structure of the cookie component of Oreos has been altered which makes them unable to withstand the force of pulling them apart intact. Anyone else who has encountered this issue, I'd like to hear about it. I can't be the only one who finds that the force applied to an Oreo causes the cookie to break along what seems to be a pre-existing faultline in the cookie.

Thanks, Pissed Consumer, for this forum in which to air grievances. Sincerely, Broken Dreams

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Oreo Pros: Tasted like always.

Oreo Cons: Fact that the cookie breaks into pieces when pulled apart.

I hadn't bought Oreos for years until just recently when my toddler discovered them at preschool. I've purchased four packages in the last 6 weeks and every single cookie has been broken. The amount of tears over broken cookies is enough to stop buying them.
