Oreo - Missing cookies
I opened the container of the "family size" version of the double stuffed oreos to find that the container was already missing two of the cookies. I was told that nothing could be done because there was no proof that I myself had not eaten the missing cookies prior to complaining, which is simply outrageous that they would make such a claim, questioning my honor as well as my integrity.
When you look at it, it may not seem like such a big deal, but it's the precedent of the matter.
I paid for 42 cookies and only received 40. Their inability to guarantee that every package has the correct amount of cookies speaks highly to how little pride Oreo takes in it's work.

It has happened a couple times for me also. Each time I buy the family sized double stuf, it is missing a good amount of cookies.
I could've saved a little money and bought a full regular container of the cookies. Instead of paying more for pretty much the same amount of cookies.
I myself have the exact same complaint. 38 cookies in my package.
It just goes to show you are paying for less than what is specified by the company. My store that I purchased from was winn dixi.
Its just nice to see if consumer protection works. The quality control is not up to par.
Maybe instead of layoffs they regulate there products.

It is possible someone else ate the cookies, your accusing them of not being able to package is the same as them accusing you of eating the cookies.
