Oreos for the past couple of years do not tast the same as they used to. The only bags that still taste good are the special edition ones (Peeps flavor for Easter, USA Olympics, etc) and these ones are not marked “made in Mexico”.

The ones stamped “made in Mexico” taste like cheap, generic sandwich cookies. The chocolate wafer is a lighter color and more crumbly and does not have that rich Oreo taste. It seems Oreo does not plan to remedy this situation, since I’ve seen many similar complaints.

It’s a shame that so many of the products I loved as a child have declined in quality in recent years. Please bring back the original Oreo recipe!!

I've had the same problem. I've bought two bags to give it a chance, thinking maybe it was a bad bag, but they're just horrible. They taste completely different now!
